Launch the HP scanning application, /Applications/Hewlett-Packard/HP Image
Zone
Click "Scan" .
Adjust resolution, scan area, etc, as needed.
Click "Accept".
The image will appear as a .tif file, in the HP Image Zone file browser. You
may recognize the default contents of this browser as the contents of your home
directory on the local machine.
